Oiling is simple:

1. Clean the hair out

2. Open your shears to make a cross

3. Place 1 drop above the pivot screw and 1 drop below the pivot screw

4. Proceed to work the oil in by opening and closing the blades

Proper shear tension:

1. Clean the hair out

2. Oil your shears

3. Tighten the adjusting nut with the adjusting tool by one click to the right

4. Open and close the shears

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until your shears feel slightly too tight

6. Once your shears become slightly too tight, adjust the nut 1 or 2 clicks to the left
